e-OSCAR Registration Questions
Companies that have been authorized by one or more of the Consumer Reporting Agencies (Equifax, Experian, Innovis, and TransUnion) may register to use the e-OSCAR application.
Yes. There is a $90.00 registration fee that must be received prior to activation of your e-OSCAR account.
You may pay your e-OSCAR registration fee by credit card, electronic funds transfer or check (mail).
You can pay with Visa, Mastercard or Discover using our secure payment portal. Click the Pay Your Invoice hyperlink. You will need to enter your registration ID to continue.
You can pay with EFT by clicking on the Pay Your Invoice link. Enter your registration ID to continue. In the payment method drop down box, select “Checking” or “Savings”.
Please make your check payable to e-OSCAR. Include your registration ID in the memo section on the check. Mail your payment to: e-OSCAR, Dept 224501, PO Box 55000, Detroit, MI 48255-2245. Please allow up to two weeks for check processing.
Yes. For your registration to be activated, we must first receive your $90.00 registration fee and receive approval from each of the Consumer Reporting Agencies with whom you have reporting relationships.
Your registration could be approved the next business day. We have seen some registrations take a week or more to be approved.
The e-OSCAR registration ID is a seven (7) digit number. You will use this registration ID each time you access the e-OSCAR application. Additionally, the registration ID serves as your account number, and can be found on your e-OSCAR invoice.
The e-OSCAR registration ID is your unique e-OSCAR account number and is not linked with any subscriber code(s) you have obtained from the Credit Reporting Agencies.
Only companies that create, compile or produce credit reports for use by other companies can register as an ICRA or MRC. MRC’s do not make loans for mortgages or buy/sell mortgage loans. The vast majority of registrations should be under Data Furnisher.
