Automated File Delivery

The e-OSCAR Automated File Delivery (AFD) Interface is designed for the Data Furnisher that gathers data from the Archive, Management or Activity Reports currently available within e-OSCAR.  The e-OSCAR Automated File Delivery Interface is a product offering that provides the Data Furnisher with the secure receipt of Reports in CSV format, from e-OSCAR, via Secure File Transfer Protocol.  The Data Furnisher will have the ability to select the delivery schedule for the reports to be transmitted, using the Automated File Delivery Interface. 

 

Utilizing the e-OSCAR Automated File Delivery Interface will allow the Data Furnisher to reduce the time and effort taken to schedule and download reports from e-OSCAR.  All delivered reports will contain the header rows for the corresponding report, which may not be available on all downloaded reports in e-OSCAR.

 

An added advantage of the e-OSCAR Automated File Delivery Interface is the storage of daily files up to 30 days. This can be of benefit if there is ever a need to recover files received within the past 30 calendar days.

 

File transfer within the e-OSCAR Automated File Delivery Interface is managed through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).
